First off... I turned 26! What a drag... Time is flying by and I'm now realizing I have a lot of shit to do in order to be where I wanna be in a few years. I'm still working on investing in a bussiness in Mexico, I'm not going to get into details until the whole thing is finalized. I'm working hard here, trying to save up some money, pay off debt and finally go back to school!
On a better note, I decided that I had to celebrate my birthday in a special way. So I packed my bags and spent my birthday weeken in Cancun. I couldn't go alone so I flew my BFF over to joing me. We had a really good time! We relaxed in the resort and visited the Mayan pyramids of Chichen Izta. The tour was awesome! I am so glad I did this, it was very relaxing to stand in the middle of these ruins and try to grasp how enormous this civilization was.
The rest of the time was spent on the beach and @ the pool. The beach was beautiful! Adrian and I just relaxed and had a little fun in the water. The pool was also nice... the resort was all-inclusive so we had drinks and food to spare. Unfortuneatly I had no more days off available at work, so it had to be a quik trip, but it was well worth it.
All in all the first month @ 26 is going well... 2010 will be a good year! I can feel it!
Tonight after a day of neverending drama @ work, I decided to call Rozybel and see what she was doing. She was just at home chillin', so I decided to invite her to dinner.
I picked her up, and we drove off in search of food. We ended up searching for Pollos Mario. After a bit of searching (niether of us knew where the restaurant was) we finally got there.
Rozybel wasn't hungry, but she sure as hell had a Corona. I ate and drank a couple of beers with her. We caught up and chatted about men, sex and the usual bullshit we always talk about.
I dropped her off @ a friend's house... I might meet up with her in a bit.
So I recently saw 'Fast & Furious'. I must say I was surprised I liked it. I was expecting a pretty crappy movie like Tokyo Drift, or something. Luckily it wasn't bad. I was entertaining, it's not gonna win any Oscars, but it was good. I guess seeing mah hiney Paul Walker might have had something to do with it... LOL!
Well, anyway, the plot was pretty good and I think it was probably the best of of the series!
So I started working on a fundraiser/charity. I'm gonna be designing the website and all it's content. I have a few ideas, but the inflow of information from the organizers is so slow, I don;t know when I'm ever cgonna have a rough draft.
The charity, for those who are curious, is for a Buddhist monastery in Bhutan! I met this very nice Monk on my last trip to Mexico. I volunteered to build and mantain the website. Who would have thought??? I am in that place right now that I wanna do things that are meaningful and might make a difference in the world!
Thanks to my friends Blanca and Diego, I'm now addicted to this not so new Telenovela called Atrévete a soñar. It's actually pretty good and I personally love it because of all the se-he me-hes!! Most of the actors are in thier 20's playing fifteen year olds... LUV IT! And the guys, most of them, are HOT! My favorite is Eleazar Gomez (picture below). Let's see if I can keep up with it! In the meantime I'm totally adicted to the theme song called 'Mundo de Caramelo' sun by Danna Paola!
I'm back bitches.... My 3 week vacation was absolutely fabulous!!! Mexico City has changes so much and Acapulco is as fun as it always has been!!!
I spent most of my time with Blanca & Diego, and they made my stay very fun and entertaining! I met a lot of thier friends and even a Budhist Monk named Yeshi. Overall the visit was fabulous and I now plan to go there more often!I also met up with John & Christian (he lives in NY but for some reason we just never hang out here).
